ERROR: Can't open any more databases!

Does anyone know what causes the following error:

Runtime Error: Can't open any more databases?

I am using Access 2K and receive the following error when working within the database.

Is anyone aware of possible causes?

Can I suggest that you explain in more detail what you are doing when this error occurs. Are you attempting to open a Database that is already open (i.e. locked)? Is it a shared dbase etc. I probably can't help but you never know.
