error by backup from VSS USER DATA

Hi

I backup a Server with "All"
Sometimes the backup runns normal. All succeeded.
Sometimes "VSS USER DATA" backup fail.
i have this messages in the daemon.log

Any Idee what return code 84 means?

This looks like an OS problem.
You will get more details with "net helpmsg 84". The result is clear ...

Storage to process the request is not available.

What means Storage? Tape? The VSS USER DATA backups to the same Pool as the rest (C:, D: allt the other VSS).

This is an OS response. Most likely, the OS is incapable to talk to a third party backup solution. Though it does not know its capacity.

My assumption is that your system just does not have enough disk space (on C:?) to buffer the data before it can get backed up. Consequently the backup must fail.
