Error attempting to select DBGrid from toolbox in VB6 1

I have a VB6 application which I compiled into a exe file about a year ago. The application is still in use by end-users.

When attempting to open up the application in VB to make some modifications, I experienced some errors i.e.

Line 42: Property OleObjectBlob in db_main could not be set.
Line 42: Cannot load control db_main; license not found.

When I went into the form, the DBGrid (called db_main) was missing.

When attempting to reinsert from the toolbox, I got the following message:

"License information for this component not found. You do not have an appropriate license to use this functionality in the design environment"

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I need to make some changes urgently.

It sounds as if a ActiveX or a dll is missing from your workstation. I'm checking to see which one.

The Microsoft DataGrid control uses msdatgrd.ocx. If this isn't on your workstation (assuming this is the datagrid used?) - or the users workstations - then you'll get this message.
