SRPT4653 VGW channel 6 TN 0x446 connected to farEnd 10.10.1.57:5222 TN 0x280b closed incorrectly, state RxClosePending

how do i resolve this issue? we have 2 sig servers that tie in 2 campuses..

thanks in advance,
-pt.

made any net wide changes in your routers? looks more layer 3 then your servers.. i would do a debug at the router level or a restart.. i'm thinking it was a network change.

your post shows three dn's in the mix.. what is common (trunk side) to those dn's.. when did this start..

i had a mixed (ip and tdm) install that had been up a month when i started getting pages of errors.. no one had touched anything... 3 long days later we found someone had replaced a hub with a switch... something to do with the way they enabled vlans on that single box was the problem. when there data guru took one look at it, made a couple of changes...

i perfer voip, just get the data geeks out of the mix and you can build a great network...

i don't think that 5210 represents a DN maybe a port number?

i've disabled the secondary MC card (thinking that it might have been the issue, but no go). i am getting them more frequently

What sw version are you running on your Nortel systems? If you're running 5.0, according to Nortel's knowledgebase there are several PEPs that may apply to your situation.

Ask your Network people what they did about the time you started having the problem.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.
