Today we switched to the IP only version of our client. Only on Win 2K machines are we receiving an error. In the login script (same script on xp, nt and 2k machines)it changes to a new tree and context. The passwords and user names are synched. This maps a drive from the other server. Now when the script runs it does not work. It returns an error:
Authenticating to server #servername
Login was unable to authenticate and will now try connecting as bindery.
Error code: fffffeaf.
#servername/username
LOGIN-LGNWNT32.DLL-100: Access has been denied.
LOGIN-LGNWNT32.DLL-460: The server that you attempted to map a drive to is not accessible.
The map command was ROOT U:\\SERVERNAME\VOL1\SHARE
I am able to ping the server by short and long name. I can also map to the drive manually after logging in.
Thank you,
Dan
