error 9003 unable to execute command ms_error_code

I am getting this error in one of my backup jobs.
This error appears right at the scheduled job start.
And job just finishes after this error appears.
So no data is being backed up.
I checked the event log but no error is recorded.

Can anyone tell me what the problem is and how to fix it?

What is the error code?
Does the job have a Pre command?
Try recreating the job.

Error code is listed on the title, 9003. I have already recreated the job and still NG.

What ARCserve version and patch level is involved here?

I believe David is referring to the ms_error_code part of the error not the E9003.
