Error 6 and Error 50 on Dial-up

I am getting a error trying to dial my ISP I have changed modems and reinstalled drivers, TCP/IP. I can get the computer to surf using the network card and Cable modem. But I also need to use dial-up. I am getting one of 2 errors.

Error 50: The network Request is not supported or
Error 6: Invalid Handle

I have moved the modem applied patches at a loss now

Hi
Are you using a router? If so, you will have to clone the MAC address. If not, have you contacted your ISP? When you change modems, your computer has to be reset on your ISP's end. Are you dial up or cable? Good luck!

I was able to fix this by uninstalling TCP/IP and reinstall.
