Hello Everyone,
Trying to figure out a problem we are having after moving circuits to a new switch. We moved are circuits to a new location and as a result they moved from a 5ESS to G9. After the move was completed we did not have any errors till we realized we were not getting caller id information. I called and got that turned back on now we get repeated Error 5525 on calls. These calls can be local, national etc. and it still happens. Any thoughts on what we or the carrier needs to change. They do not have any suggestions...

Thanks,

This is what your error means

ERR5525 Parsing of name information received.
Action:
Severity: Info. Critical to Monitor: No. SNMP trap: Yes

I don't know what a G9 is but is the circuit set up NI2 ??

Hello KCFLHRC,
I am aware of what the error is and believe the problem to be on the CO but they say they have no idea what the issue is and if they or we need to make changes. The G9 is the switch that the circuits are on at the carrier. The circuit is setup as NI2. I have been unable to come up with anything other than an Avaya doc acknowledging the issue and saying it is a CO issue. I have had our PBX Support engineers take a look in case I was missing something and they can't find anything either.

Thanks,
Jim
