I have a BCM 400 with PRI 3.7 software. I just got a call from the customer and the system has an error code of 420

You sure it's a 420? I don't see that listed in the event ID table.

That's what the customer said. But they are also having trouble with their T-1 coming in from telco. (Telco side is down). SO.... I am thinking it is some kind of DTM error.

It could be 42-0
42 being the Event ID and 0 being the DTM?
Type 42 is linked to Loss of Frame. Most likely cause is an irregularity with the PSTN connections.
Most likely network provider.
NCSS, NCDS, NCTS
