hi can anybody troubleshoot me through this process;
i am logged onto a networked pc and seagate is installed on the c drive
when i try to open it up i get the message that it is going to install it then i get the error message 1706
also can you tell me what is a n ACT file

thanks

The error itself is a Windows Installer error indicating that it can not find the install source.

It sounds like there is an install of CR on your machine, but the Windows Installer has detected something being needed. This will require the source.

Have no idea what n ACT is referring to. Can you post the actual error. This would maybe help.
