Bonjour,

Each time I want to start a service with a local user on an win2000 server ( member of 2000 domain) I have an error 1069, and I need to manualy reenter the password of the account in the service /properties /log on.

I have modify the Local Policies to give this account the rights to log on as a service.
But after a reload, or login on a new terminal server session, the start of the service failed until I re_enter the password of this account in the service/properties/log on. ( display after this operation : the account has been granted to log on as a service).
It's seem that the local policies are not applied ???

Many thanks if somebody have any idea on this problem ...

Regards
Elisabeth

Hi
"Local Policies" on a Win2k Server are the last policies that the system applies.
If you have any more restrictive on "Server policies" or in "{I don't remember name}" [ponder] it will be apllied instead of "Local Policy"

Also, watch if the directive is applied

Good luck!
