Hello all,
I have an issue here I just can't figure out. We're experiencing dropped calls on our 2 PRI circuits. Before it drops the caller hears a loud static. The called party doesn't hear it and the call drops. Here's one of the many reports I've looked at...

The provider tells me that the tests they've run indicate something on our side. Any thoughts? If someone needs more info I'll be glad to provide it. I really need a hand here.
Thanks,
John

Tronic1,

I can assure you that AvayaTier3 knows his stuff, has done work for me, has provided many excellent learning opps, and has not steered me off the center line.

If you are at the frustration point of no return, want it resolved and have the ability to enlist his expertise, I highly suggest clicking his link. He is quick to repond as you can see in this thread. But please keep us informed here as well.

As an old Verizon tek I would plug a laptop into the serial interface of the smart jack. Using hyper terminal (8-1-none I believe)I would pull the stats from the card. You can go to screens that will show you what direction the errors are coming from. Of course I would not dream of doing that now that I work on Avaya gear. :)
