I get this err everyday it seems. I looked up the err code and found this:
OVL000

ERR5142 x y
Required Configurations for TRO-CM to work is missing. Check TRO(
Overlay 16) and/or VTRO ( overlay 17) prompts.
Where: X is the customer number.
Y is the route number.
Action: Enable TRO and/or VTRO.
Severity: Minor

I didn't know what that meant really (I realize that the route number referenced is 32) so I looked up the ld 16 & 17 in the Nortel document 553-3001-311 but there doesn't seem to be a way to print the information in those loads.

We tried setting up some traffic reports earlier and wondered if it could have something to do with that...
Any clues would be very much appreciated.

TRO-CM is Trunk Optimization after Call Modification

In English, a call goes from site A to site B and is ANSWERED (that's the call modification) then transfered back to A. The trunks will be optimized and torn down as they are no longer needed.

This was a feature enhancement in Succession 3.0. In 25.40b and below, TRO only worked if the call was NEVER ANSWERED at the B node prior to going back to the original node. If the call was answered, the trunks would never optimize if the call was sent back.

Look at your RDB programming in LD 21, and your DCH RCAP settings in LD 22. Full documentation on the implementation of TRO-CM can be found in the NTP's Features and Services Guides under Trunk Optimization after Call Modification.
