I have a Opt 11C Rls 25.40 with 3 fiber remote cabinets. Cabinet 1 started experiencing clicking on the cabinet and I was getting the BUG4216's. I replaced the fiber daughterboard on the SSC, the BUG codes went away but I cannot get the cabinet to come up. It works locally in the switch room. We have swapped fiber receivers, daughterboards power supplies and different strands of fiber to the building. I am now getting ERR5098's and other various errors. Maybe the SSC?

you did what I'd do and brought it into the switchroom, if it works there, you'll need to eliminate what goes in between. Are you using the proper fiber for the daughterboard, I'd have the fiber tested, etc

might be, but i might test the fiber 1st.. i've had more bad connectors then i have ssc cards

It seems to be getting gradually worse. It works in the switch room "splice point A" it works at point B, yesterday it worked at C, now it won't work there at all. The errors have doubled, I can't ID any of the cards or the tty port. The SSC is a NTDK20CA, possibly the SSC card, its the only thing I haven't replaced along with the fiber.

wouldnt hurt, also, maybe the cabinet went bad???? that does happen!

gotta be the fiber or the daughtboard or the SSC then! sounds like you've eliminated everything else!!
