err404

what does it mean when you get a err404 no default tree exist. I have an ascom phone that is using RT 89 that a PRI RT and another ascom phone that is using RT 81 also PRI . They both are hitting RT 90 that setup as a T1 RT. The phone in Rt 89 will not work .I am getting an err404. Both Rt 89 and 81 are setup the same. Both are hitting the same T1 Rt that goes to a Patton box at the other site. Can anyone tell me why my call is being rejected on Rt 89 but not 81?

Make sure in the extension you make the call for the two following things :
1. CLS CTD/TLD/... (compare to phone-TN that can make the call with no ERR404).
2. NCOS = ? (compare to phone-TN that can make the call with no ERR404).

check even the TRUNK-TN that make this call if its passing the NCOS\cls CTD...

change the CLS on the ascom to UNR and try the call---if it works leave as is ---or if that would cause restriction issue create an FCR in ld 49 to allow the digits dialed by the ascom sets
