ERR0073 911P calls cannot take 911P trunks at the tandem node. 1

Not sure what is causing this or where to start for resolution. Assistance would be greatly apreciated.

Non 911P calls cannot take 911P trunks at the tandem node(for any redirections other than transfer or conference). At least one non-911P route must be available for the call to go to the other node.These calls are blocked at the source node. The ACD DN defined for handling 911 calls should not be used for normal calls. A new ACD DN should be defined for handling non-911 calls. This new ACD DN has
remote targets associated with non-911 routes.

Not sure what caused the error.

Recently added a ERL with 3 entries and verified all 3 work without error. Everything appears to be provisioned properly.

Also have been working on the OSDN portion and have successfuly added the OSN to a phone.

I just noticed the error yesterday and do not know how to duplicate or where the error originated.

You aren't doing any wierd back to back trunking are you? If it persists, trty to capture the compelte error text and what was happening at the time the error occured.

Will definately keep an eye out.

Negative on the trunking.

Have not seen that error before. Besides the change to ERL and OSDN the only recent change was an upgrade to 5.0

We are slotted to go to 5.5

There was no string attached to err73 and nothing before or after.

THIS IS SUPPOSEDLY A PATCH WITH NORTEL THE PATCH NUMBER IS P25007 IF YOU DO A SEARCH FOR ERR073 ON NORTEL IT LISTS ALL CALL SERVER TYPES AND THE PATCH ASSOCIATED FOR THIS. HOPE THIS WORKS FOR YOU

there is another patch I have loaded for same issue and I no longer get err073. It is not yet public so will have to get from Nortel.

I received this error when attempting to call forward a telephone to an external number using analog ground start trunks.


ERR073 0 4

The phone is a 2616 has cls cfxa enabled and a key with cfw 11 9xxx-xxx-xxxx

The call didn't go through to the trunk but went to reception. This error popped on the screen at the same time as the test call was placed.

I still need to trouble shoot more....

I have seen this err073 falsely reported before.Check the Ncos level on the incoming rte to make sure it is allowed to dial back out on another trunk rte
