ERR - Unrecognised Database Format

When trying to open a couple of db's from last year,i get the err Unrecognised Database Format 'x:\folder\file.mdb'

Try to open it for repair and it states the same.

Any ideas?!!

It means the database file is not the same version of Access as the version of Access you are running on your machine.

Does it give you the option to convert the database?

Aha...!

It doesnt no. Im using 97, it must have been built in 2k.
