Eror message, cant delete HP files

Hi everyone I am compleately computer illiterate but I can learn and look up new terms. My computer displayed DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
STOP: 0x000000D1 (0x00000001, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x00000001)

So I did a system restore a TrayApp kept apearing so I deleated all files that were recently installed and the TrayApp files. (I could not delete yahoo Mesenger or HP printer components). I restarted muy computer the TrayApp still came up. So I disabled BIOS then my computer started up fine. but I still cant get rid of yahoo messenger or HP printer files grrrr. What now? should I enable BIOS if so what is the best way (I need this dummed down or atleast a moderate level so I can look up things I do not know)

you should be able to uninstall Yahoo Messenger through the control panel install/remove programs.

As far as something coming up in the tray, try Start>Run>MsConfig
then click the Startup tab. If it's there, you can uncheck it then reboot.

You may get a message (depending on the os)
that you have changed the startup, check the checkbox and click ok.

You will probably find your hp files in control panel add/remove programs too.
