i have configure H323 trunk between Ericsson BP250 trunk and cisco CUCM
it works from the cisco side it can call Ericsson BP250

when we dial from Ericsson to Cisco we dial 088XXX

the phone only accept 057 then it does not take the other 3 digits and the phone write Eternal Route

Do u know how to solve it

another thing what is the default password and username for telnet to the Ericsson PBX

Thanks

Since you have only mentioned the 088 role, at which point do you dial 057?
Are you using PNRs?

sorry i was wrong
when we dial from Ericsson to Cisco we dial 057XXX

try to unmark overlap receiving as call manager receive digit by digit if it isnt work see number type maybe u need to make
it unknown number

Under you PNR, you can set the complete call number. Then the BP250 will send it as enbloc. It will wait for all digits before transmitting them.

it still dial only 0571 after that it does not accept any numbers

can you please send me a complete configuration to setup H323 trunk between BP250 and CUCM 8

Hi,

Unfortunately I have no setup between a Cisco and BP.
You mention that you dial 057XXX to call the cisco. Can you provide a some sample extensions as they reside on the cisco pbx? (e.g. 57000, or 7000 or 200)

to dial an extension on Cisco like 200 we have to dial from BP 057200

Then under your private network router, have you set "Predigit removal" = 3?
Also, number length (complete and subscriber) = 3 (to allow it to wait for the extension number 200)
Test that first. If it fails I can provide another method to test.

done all the steps and it's not working

i indicates on the phone screen when i dial 057120 it shows 0571 then it stops take numbers

OK, let's go to the basics:

1. You have a licensed IPU
2. You have created a Trunk route containing only the IP trunks of THAT IPU (if you have more than one IPU)
3. You have set the address on the IPU
4. You have added your own IPU and the cisco IP to the 1000 node table
5. You created a PNR = 057
6. In the PNR you have set "other vendor pbx", trunk access = trunk route created above, remove predigits = '3', and node reference = 2 (assuming that the cisco was added at position 2 in the 1000 node table

Is that all correct? If you have done so, add (removing none of the above):
7. Predigits = 120

The when you dial only 057, the pbx will discard the 057, pickup the IP trunks and dial 120 towards the cisco.
Hope that helps

Hi, is there any feedback on whether it finally worked or not?
