Hi there,

MS SQL Server has some nice diagrams that can be added in Management Studio.

Do we have the same options with Oracle SQL Developer.

Any guidance would be great.

Thanks

Gordon

Since some of us here don't use SQL Server/Management Studio, please advise us for what type of diagram you are looking...Entity-Relationship Diagram, maybe?

Although I'm not aware of SQL*Developer having the capability to reverse engineer an ERD, but I have used the following to reverse engineer Oracle schemas into nice-looking ERDs (in order of preference):[ul][li]Sybase's PowerDesigner[/li][li]Embarcadero[/li][li]Visio[/li][/ul]There are several other packages (including downloadable, no-cost/freeware packages) that will reverse engineer ERDs from an Oracle schema, but I haven't used the others.

You may use Data Modeler from Oracle SQL Developer. It's both free and cross-platform. As a free bonus you'll obtain import from ERWin and MS XMLA
