Is it possible in InDesign to typeset complex mathematical equations within the text of an article? I'm trying to make up pages for a scholarly journal in InDesign. When I cut and paste from Microsoft Word, text comes in fine, but the equations are distorted or missing. I can't find the mathematical symbols needed to set up the equations in InDesign (the way you can in Word with Microsoft Equation 3.0) Is anyone familiar with how to do this or whether there is a plug-in available for doing this?

This is just what I needed. Thank you so much!
