equation editor in OpenOffice

is there any way to write math formulas in OpenOffice (Writer) like equation editor in MS Office.
I have a lot of documents written in MS word using equation editor.

any suggestions?[bigears]

I found that feature in OpenOffice and is very cool, but still need suggestions what to do with MS Word documents that have equation editor formulas [ponder]
 
Couldn't get DMaths to install in open office. Gmalavrazic, where did you find the feature in the suite? I cannot find it.
Any help is much appreciated.
