Hi All,

I am trying to set up ePO to go to nai ftp site to download the latest dat file.
I have set up a task on the ePO server to go to the ftp site, grab the dat file, and save it to the local hard drive. Then, the plan is to point my machines on the netwrok to this folder to get it.
I am falling over on the initial "get the update" stage.
When the task 'runs' nothing happens. I am afraid I might have used the wrong ftp address. can anyone, who does this successfully, tell me what ftp string they have in settings on a similar task?
Also, is the DAT file for all versions of virusscan/shield, whatever?
We have W95, W98, NT4, and W2K machines. The server is W2K. As far as I know there are no issues with these machines, apart from the niggly setting on the W95 and W98 boxes with File Sharing, etc. I have set all of these up correctly for the next stage (get the update from the server), but I want to make sure they are getting the correct DAT file. If you start a new task in ePO, there are several choices for product updates, including W98, NT, etc... so which one should I use with the server in order to get the correct DAT file...
Can anyone help a confused Administrator?

ftp.nai.com/pub/antivirus/datfiles/4.x. I use the Mirror task to check for and copy the files over.

The readme.txt file that accompanies the dat file explains which versions its good for.

Thanks for that maartenw! :)
Listen... When I try to ftp to the above path including directories, using the cmd prompt, it says unknown host. But if I ftp to ftp.nai.com and then go to each directory uing cd, I get there fine.
What I want to know is if I place the above link in its entirety in the FTP filed on the ePO server for it to grab the latest update, will it connect and get it for me? Or will it have a problem? It hasn't downloaded it when we tried in the last couple of days.
However, on a lighter note, and also refrenecing my other question, I have successfuly managed to get the update to my clients using the sdat4184.exe file, AND the update.ini file that is given by nai. SO all I need to do now is sort out how to get the dat files into the appropriate folder on the server from nai.
