epo service doesnot start

epo ver 2.0

the macfee epo server service doesnot start, and reports a windows nt internal error , when u look at the event viewer it reports logon on failures.

i have checked serive and ensure it starts with the correct account and password. what i know is that the adminsitrator account for the domain was changed, i hav eupadted the service with new password as well

any ideas

Check the account you used to start the ePO services. Should have AT LEAST Local Admin rights on the machine. You can use the CFGNAIMS.EXE utility to change this.

the epo server is BDC, i have logging on as the administrator for the domian, i have check the local admin rights, i have also used cfgnaims.exe to changed to use nt authentification using tha admin for the domain.

still the same, anyideas.........

try install the atualization to "2.5.1".213 ...

Install the ePO 2.5 upgrade then install SP1 which will bring your version to 2.5.1.213
