Hi ppls,

I have just recently setup an EPO Server at a client site on a windows 2000 server. Everything so far has gone well except recently I have noticed an error on the server saying that the EPO server has stopped. I have tried a number of different things to get the service up and running again but to no avail.

The error I am getting is as follows:

Event Type: Information
Event Source: NAIMServ2
Event Category: None
etc etc
Description:
ePolicy Orchestrator server stopped.

Any help with this would be great.

Check the account being used to start the service. Make sure it has at least Local Admin rights on the server.

Hi PPLS,

i've checked that the account being used has admin rights, which it does. I am still receiving the same error.

Any thoughts?

What ePO version are you using? The latest version is 2.5.1 (ePO 2.50 SP1).

We are currently using ePO version 2.0.0

Install the 2.5.0 upgrade first, then install 2.5.0 SP1, which brings it to 2.5.1.213. This should solve this problem.

Can anyone tell me where to get the 2.5.0 SP1 download from? I have not been able to locate it on the web.
