I work for a School and we about 1500 computers on one Domain. We have the agent in the login scripts installing silently looking like this:
\\support\McAfee\poaginst.exe /installpath=%SystemDrive%\progra~1\EPOAgent /s

Most of the Computers it worked great, though there is problems with some labs, they have the EPO agent running but they will not install McAfee and show up as "NO Prodcut - none" in the NO AV cover report. The computers are Ghosted, so they are all identical. One lab is Win98 and the other one is Windows 2000 Pro (SP2 and SP3 machines ). If hope someone can help me fix that i can implement using the login script.

You would have to modify the policy to "force-install" VirusScan on those machines. Unless you have another script which actually does that.

Update:

Well i got an update, It looks like the Sotware is installed now, it scan files but it dosn't show up in the Reports for the EPO, When you try to go into the properties the vsconfig crashes, but not all users, just some users it will crash and say there is a missing DLL others will just work fine. These are Win98SE machines. Even re-installing the EPO won't work, i have to Run the McAfee install to get it to work right, but not sure if that fixes the not shoping up in EPO. Any suggestions?

Which version of VirusScan are you installing?

It sounds as though the VirusScan installation has not completed properly. It may be that the PCs are being shut down during the VirusScan installation?
If VirusScan installation is not showing up on the ePO console you could send an 'agent wakeup call' and select get full properties.
If you have an up to date software licenses you could try VirusScan 7 - it seems to be more reliable that 4.5.1 on Windows 2000 and XP.
