I ran epo 3.0 together with SQL2000 SP3. I stopped the sql services, then removed EPO. Re-installed and used the CfgNaiMs.Exe command to ensure the EPO server is talking to the correct sql database as well as ensuring the sql username has permission.

However all machines talking back to the EPO server add themselves to lost and found. I have lost my directory structure with all my IP configs as each directory has a VLAn specified.

Why have I lost this info?

d-mac, i have seeen this several times. i believe it is by design by mcafee. in my case i was using a directory stucture based on remote offices to push out the new 7.0. when i was finished with this i spoke to macafee and they suggested i delete my database (mcafee will show this as your domain under L&F) and allow it to rebuild under lost and found. this will delete all folder structure, tasks and policies by design. however i found found that my performance and management has improved since then. for instance in this design in which all nodes show as being in lost and found did you know that you can use the Action>all tasks>update domain to add new nodes on your network? this has been much easier for me to add nodes rather than relaying on desktop support to notify me when they are built.

hope this finds you well
