We have a client attempting to implement Vantage on SQL Server and they are having performance issues. I hear it is due to SQL Server, but no one has given a solution. Any thoughts??? Anyone know anyone that would be a good consultant to identify their performance issues too?

Depending on what version you are running , apparently the latest is improved. Where are you based?

It is my understanding that they are using the latest version of Vantage. I am not sure of Vantage's numbering system as I have not used it before. The client is in MFG and are located in MN, which Epicor has an office there. I am guessing that is why they went w it vs say Oracle. I have a feeling we will get through the identify and remedy stage of this project and they will decide to nix the idea of going live with it and start over with the reviewing of ERP solutions and choose someone else. Problem is we have never done worked with Epicor before, so from a consulting perspective, we are in the dark, which is a terrible place to be!

What kind of performance issues? What is a user doing when they experience a performance issue?
