The Common Management Agent has an update (Release 4) that raises it to version 3.5.0 508 and it is meant to correct
an issue where you could read info stored in locations where mosts accounts do not have rights, etc. The issue is with the release notes of this patch, it says:
This Patch replaces the Common Management Agent
3.5.0 to resolve the issues listed below. ****This
release is for stand-alone installations of McAfee
products. It is not for use in an ePolicy
Orchestrator or ProtectionPilot environment****.
NOT FOR USE IN AN EPO ENVIRONMENT? IS that correct? How else would I upgrade my clients? Manually? I don't think so...I've tested this in the lab and it works fine. McAfee says they don't know!!.
Anyone have any comments/suggestions.....
Thanks,
