EOD HELL!!!

I’m sure it’s my fault but the system kept running eod out of place during service. It was set to run at 30 hours. Daylight savings time. I switched to international daylight savings time still had issues. I forced EOD which got pos up but one day in future Switched ton06:00 still had issues. Today clocks on Pos were ahead 4 hours. Tried writing the correct date in the aloha.ini on all machines and it kept perpetually running EOD now I removed EOD altogether and allowed different POS time and system time. POS is up but it’s 22 March in the system because of all the EODS. Help!!! And how will I roll back the aloha to current date?

Step 1 Aloha data
Set correct date in Aloha Manager
Step 2 PC date and time
Stop FOH in Aloha manager
close aloha manager
stop ctlsvr service
delete timezone.ini from data folder
Set correct time, date and time zone on BOH
Start Ctlsvr service
Step 3 log back into Aloha Manger
Start front of house
Set EOD event back to 30:00
refresh data
Step 4 FOH
Make sure all FOH terms come on with system date and DOB as the same
Step 5 BOH
Delete or move all newly created dated folders from todays date forward out of Aloha folder.

That should fix everything.

Aloha time works up to 36 hours for a day. 30:00 means run eod at 6am the following day. If you set eod for 6:00 then eod happens at 6am on the day you want to have sales for and thats no good.
Also check all your FOH terms, make sure they all have correct time, date and time zone in Windows.
