Enterprise manager 6 upgrade

I'm trying to upgrade EM5 to EM6. AMC is unlocked (according to VAR)
Getting following message in logs:

I’m trying to install EM6 and installer fails with following diagnostic in AMC sync log file:

Starting sync at Mon Aug 06 14:27:30 2009
Server refused our public key.
FATAL ERROR: Server sent disconnect message:
"Too many authentication failures for syncw32"
Timeout occurred - aborting.
Sync failed at Mon Aug 06 14:29:10 2009
 
AMC is unlocked is not clear.

The AMC record requires Software Assurance to be active.
The AMC record may need the Hardware ID to be reset.

If both of the above are true, then try an offline registration.

If that fails, call tech support.

Occam's Razor - All things being equal, the simplest solution is the right one.
 
Did you reset the hardware ID, it looks like you have lock the AMC account.

This will happen if you try to license the AMC record more than three times, even if it is licensed on the same machine.

I don't have access to AMC, so I don't even know what is in there. We pay maintenance fee for EM to our VAR. It suppose to include Software Assurance and phone support. They sent me a message saying that AMC is unlocked. Usually it works right away.

Thank you for your answers. I will repeat my request to reset AMC
