Hello,

So our batch settled prematurely last night, and none of the tips entered were charged. I am trying to either adjust the transactions from the settled batch (I think this is imposible), or create a new transaction by looking up the card number and expiration and entering them into a POS. Is it possible to just charge a tip without having to charge anything else? I was under the impression you had to charge at least $1 before entering any tips.

Thanks!

You will need to pull the card numbers in the audit report and add the tips through BOH EDC as a separate transaction. The problem it may cause is that the customers may call to dispute the charge as they will see two separate charges from the restaurant.

once a batch is settled, you can not adjust it as it has been sent to the processor and the bank.

Thanks Knectech. How exactly do i put in a transaction through EDC? I really only know how through a POS Terminal. I do have the audit report with the card numbers. Thanks again.

From EDC in back office, choose Functions, authorize transation
enter card number, exp date and amount
