enter the data correctly

my company is using forms to enter data into one of our main tables. Now a field called as consignee is always messed up with misspelling. How to make sure that the information entered through forms is correct.are there any look up lists that can be used. Is there any easier way to correct these misspellings. there are a million records in one table.

i appreciate any descriptive help in this regard, I am new to this.
