Enter Network password

Hi to all,.

I would need to know how windows save the username and password you enter (provided you notch the case for 'Save this password to your password list)in the 'Enter Network Password' window when you have to access secure Directory on the Net. Is it in the registry? I need to format a win98 pc to install win2k and I need my password list back after installing win2k...

Can somebody help...

I've never bothered with them myself but there are some password recovery utilities on the web you might like to try.
Search the 'net for something like Password Recovery Utility
