Question?

I have been working on a few WIN 98SE machines that boot up to the Windows Logon Prompt, but the prompt is inactive. The users all complain because they cannot just type in their password, they have to remeber to click on the dialog box with the mouse and then type in the password.

Anyone seen this before.

Help.....

Please disregard, I figured out what was going on.

Thanks,

Joe

Kind of wierd. These machines were running the Intel Active Monitor which was configured in msconfig under the startup tab. When the PC started up, the login screen would appear and the Intel app would start causing the login screen to be inactive (but no indication was given that these had started and caused the problem). To fix it, I unchecked the Intel options from msconfig and added them to the startup section of the start menu.

Now everything works.
