I have an unbound text box. I am trying to stop the return key going out of the box when it gets pressed. I have gone into Access Options, Client settings, and set it to not move after pressing entry. However it makes the cursor jump to the start of whatever text has been typed in and highlights the whole text.

Always simple things are not easy!

Any suggestions please. Thanks

I'd use the KeyDown event procedure of the control setting KeyCode=0 when it's equal to vbKeyReturn.

Hope This Helps, PH.
