How do I enterr a 39 code for ENTER or CR. I know that ALT 013 is the ASCII code for carriage return but I'm having trouble getting the proper bar code printed. I want to scan the code and have CR take place on the screen.
Thanks,
Randy

How are you creating these barcodes??
True type font ????

If you want a CR after every barcode scan, you can program the scanner with a CR Suffix.
You can also choose that you want a CR after a code 39 but not after a UPC or Code 128

This should be in your manual.

I am using True Type font. I need a stand alone bar code that only does CR. There is one printed on the scanner set-up sheet (along with all other characters), I just don't know what key strokes to enter to produce the bar code with Trus Type font.

Thanks.

I got it. Just in case other readers are interested....you enter

*$M*

to get a CR on scan.

I think this will depend on what scanner you are using.
