enq permission issue.

Hi All

Any one seen this error before.

$ lp -sdlp2 /etc/profile
enq: (FATAL ERROR): Error in msgsnd. Errno = 13.
enq: errno = 13: Permission denied

This from a normal user.
No problems if root user.
Operating system is AIX 5.2 maint 02.

I Know its a permissions issue but i cannot find the area or file that has the incorrect permissions.

Have checked all the standard printing commands and area permissions.

Any help would be gatefully appreciated

Are all spooler daemons up? what is the permissions of the etc/profile file ?

Hi Toni

Can't remeber any thing specific that i did to resolve the problem.

Have you checked the size of the wtmp file and also rebooted your system.
Give those a try and if i remember any thing i'll post a note.
