I have a Meridian CS1000; but if what you are asking is what version/model for the hardware/software, how would I find that?

Communication Server 1000M SG/CP PIV

It's an "IP enabled" 61C, now called a CS1000M Single Group.
(It's big brother is the 81C - aka CS1000M Multi Group). They have a different internal architecture (TDM) than the CS1000E.

I think the older Meridian documents (NTPs) better explain the internals - the release 25 Meridian NTPs are good.

Gene's site should have plenty of info on 61C too.
