End point group assosciation

Avaya CM 6.3.... Looking to setup group codes. We have several sites(over 150) that we will need to register IP phones in there specific area. I have worked for companies that when they shipped out a phone once the customer connected it to the network they would enter a two digit code and the phone would grab the information and register to that specific site. Any instructions on how to set this up would be greatly appreciated.

Are you referring to the 'IP Phone Group ID" found on page 3 of the station form?
