We just received a 500v2 demo kit the first week of December and it was discontinued on the 9th??? What exactly does this mean?

Just means they aren't selling some of the cards or supporting the software, doesn't effect your Demo kit at all, you can get upgrade licences (and many others) free anyway :)

This buggered us on an install. We had sold a VCM 32 (V1), but since it was "EOS", they swapped in a VCM32 V2, but did not give us the licensing that goes with it. Sorry sir, half your phones aren't working! Luckily the turn around on the endpoint license was fast.

But to be fair, they reduced the cost by about the amount the licences would cost anyway, they are really cheap cards :)

Oh yeah, I know. But we were charged the full price of the v1 card, hah!

Then you are screwed big time :)
I hope you did get those endpoints for free at least?
