End of File error

Running Notes 4.6.3.a intermittantly users are getting an "notes has been asked to execute the following action which does not fit within your security profile... reached end of file." when trying to open there Inbox ( or any other database for that matter). Users notes.ini,desktop.dsk and names.nsf are on a network drive which has mapped OK.

any idea whats up?

You need to check the security settings. Which you can access from the desktop and going into User preferences. The security options are set globally in your names.nsf on the server. So you will need to check there as well

Thanks for the reply Jackdaw, its more than 5 people who are experiencing this problem so I cant see it being a security issue thats just came to light.
Users notes.ini, desktop.dsk and names.nsf are ran from there P: drive so I have deleted any notes.ini,desktop.dsk entries from the local c: drive. If in doubt get the Ball Pein Hammer out

None of the files you mentioned store this information so it is still worth checking
