does anyone know how I can encrypt a paradox table?

The password protection for Paradox tables is weak, but will prevent casual inspection of the data. To really encrypt it against serious attacks you would probably have to use some third party software.

I'm not sure, I've never had a need for it. I would assume that you could convert the table back and forth to a CSV file and use PGP somehow, but that doesn't sound very elegant. You would probably need to find something that was memory resident and encrypted the entire folder you were using to store your files. Maybe Cryptainer would do the trick ( - it's free and the encryption is considered unbreakable for all intents and purposes; though remember the strongest encryption is only as good as your password.

Maybe someone else has another idea?

Sorry I know this is not an answer but...

I have a brute force cracker for Paradox Tables ;) it cracked a 12 digit password (all numbers) in just a few seconds. The protection is not very safe ;P
