Hello!

i have apache2 running on my server.
I have a problem with displaying Cyrilic characters, the line

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1251">

in the head of my html document should do the trick, but it doesn't i still see some rubish letters, when i go to View >> Encoding on my IE i can select "Cyrillic (Windows)" and i see normal letters but when i refresh it returns to rubish again, this got me thinking that the problem might be in my apache server settings, because when i upload same document on other server it works ok, does anyone know what might be the problem?

You should edit file:

httpd.conf

Comment out the line:

AddDefaultCharset ISO-8859-1
