Enabling VM on a 3300?

I had heard/read this somewhere once but cant find it anymore.

We are using MiVoice 7.0 SP1 PR1 . We also use Nupoint as our vm/attendant server.

Someone had said you can set up your 3300 to also be an attendant in the event of the Nupoint server being offline or unavailable.

Any guides on how to do this?

yep! on the 3300 go to the help online and look for embedded voicemail. It will tell you step by step how to enable voicemail, then you will configure your auto attendant. Very easy but it requires a reboot

My first thought is to have the pilot number of NPM have a Call Route 1st Alt of the Embedded VM.
If NPM is out of service it should automatically reroute to embedded.
