Hi guys,

We have a connection between our Option 11 and a Cisco router, on which I am sending some DID calls to Cisco phones. This is done through LD49 IDC table, in which i am converting say 514-xxx-xxxx to 88405xxxx (88 is the ACOD for the route and 405xxxx is the 7 digit Cisco extension).

So far everything is working fine, except it seems the PBX is not sending the CLID to the Cisco router (always showing up as unknown number), which is probably because of the RDB being programmed as Tie trunks and not a PRI.

The card can support DCH signalling, and I'd appreciate if someone can lead me into either converting the Tie trunks to a PRI or enabling B-channel signalling, if possible.

Here is a printout of the RDB:

Just one detail I want to correct, the IDC table is actually set to send the call to a 4 digit type 500 phantom DN, which is then DCFW to the ACOD+Cisco extension string (88405xxxx).

You do not have a D-channel programmed, change programming to PRI/ISDN.

The route data block is irrelevant.
You can make PRI trunks ties all day long.
But if your t1 is a DTI as opposed to a PRI you will have to out and rebuild.

First you will have to ensure you have a spare MSDL device to build your D-channel on.

Then build DCH under ADAN in ld 17
Then declare your PRI under CEQU in ld 17
Then build your channels (1-23) in ld 14
go to ld 60 and ENLL your T1. It should come up and bring the D-channel up with it.

Shut up and load the Photon Torpedoes...

And if you want name display as well, don't forget to put NDS on the RCAP of your D-channel.
