enable LS-ID not possible

everytime i try to enable LS-ID so that caller-id will work it ust makes a beep when i enter the line number 805 it beeps and doesnt enter or accept it its connected to a 800GS/LS module? And my other question is do i need LS-ID enabled for caller id to work?

If you just added this module then the system may not have "seen" it. You may need to perform a board renumber so that the system knows that the 800 GS/LS-ID mod is installed. Do you have any working mods installed after the 800 GS/LS-ID? If so a board renumber would renumber the lines on any existing mods with co line ports that are installed after the 800 GS/LS-ID mod.

i know its installed because it is assigned to the Trunk 805 and when i use a button to access it on my MLX-20L if i have a phone line hooked up to it i can hear it

i dont think it is an 800GS/LS *id* module its just a 800GS/LS that probally explains it
