We have the IP OFFICE 406 V2 installed (via a telecom vendor) and it has been running for about 4 weeks now.
While the vendor is still looking up some outstanding issues, one of the issues I would like to address in this forum. I hope someone can reqognize this problem.
What we would like to create is a user-friendly situation for agents to logon and logoff from a certain group so that the agent can decide for him/herself (not) to take calls for a certain group in which the agent is a member.
All users are supplied with PMP pro, build 3.1.12 and when they use the EnableGroupMembership button on the 5410 phones, when disabled, the flag on the phone disappears (toggle function), but the membership status is not changed in the PMP software environment, like there is a lack of synchronisation between the phone and the PMP software. In effect, the calls are then still routed to the agent. When the membership is changed in the PMP software, then the flag on the phone disappears and everything seems to work fine, just not the other way around, while pressing a button on a phone is much easier.
Has anyone has come accross this problem, and if so, did you solve it?
