enable ftpd to use securid authentication

I have installed Securid Ace Agent 5.1 on AIX 5.1.
It works pretty fine. The only problem I have is:
- ftpd does not use the SecurID authentication method at all
The SecurID enabled wu-fptd was shipped for AIX only in version Agent 5.01. The new Ace Agent 5.1 does use PAM when it comes to ftp. PAM for AIX 5.1 was released in form of a patch and can be downloaded from IBM.
Has anybody an idea how I can tell fptd to use SecurID authentication or has anybody written a PAM module for SecurID?

Hi jayemce,

If you are not forced to use ftp, you may wish to try scp. It is a component of the OpenSSH suite. scp encrypts the entire conversation (including the password authentication phase).

Unfortunately, I do not have enough information to answer your original question as posed.
