Enable CLIP on IP Office 500

Hi Guys,
We recently added CLIP to our new BT ISDN lines so we could have caller ID for incoming calls.
I have spoken to BT this morning and CLIP is activated, but I need to activate it on the system. They have told me to call the Avaya Helpdesk as we pay for a maintenance contract and they will walk me through, but I just cannot get through!

I was wondering if anyone can help me with step by step instructions?
I did see somewhere something about pressing 9 before a call? But we do not have to do this, we can call a number straight away.

If it would be easier, I can upload the config file for the IP Office so you can see my current settings? Although we have not changed any settings so it should all be stock.

It's always activated on the system for ISDN lines, BT will be talking nonsense as usual. If it's on it shows, if not it doesn't, there's literally nothing to do system side.....unless you only have analogue handsets, but the default for them is on anyway :)

 
We are using Avaya 1408 handsets.
They just display external call when someone calls.

Would it be worth rebooting the system?
If not, looks like I need to be getting onto BT and ask them what they are playing at!

No point rebooting, BT don't have it turned on, or they have turned it on the wrong lines :)

 
Money well spent on the BT maintenance contract then!

Useless...
 
I heard that BT is useless even here in Canada :)
